# Downtime Control Module

## 1. Module Overview

The **Stop Control Module** of Titan MES allows the operator **to register, justify, track, edit, and close machine stoppages** that occurred during the execution of a production operation.

The purpose of the module is:

* Ensure **traceability of time losses**;
* Differentiate **justified and unjustified stoppages**;
* Support indicators such as **OEE, availability, and operational efficiency**;
* Standardize the recording of causes according to the **justification tree** defined by management.

⚠️ **Important:**\
This module **is only available** when:

1. The operator is **linked to a piece of equipment**;
2. There is a **Production Order in progress**;
3. A **operation is open and producing**.

## 2. Prerequisites for accessing the module

Before accessing Stop Control, the operator must follow Titan's standard flow:

1. Perform the **equipment linkage**;
2. Select a **Production Order (PO)**;
3. Select the **operation** that will be executed;
4. Have the machine in **"Producing"**.

Only after this flow is the **Downtime Control** button enabled in the side menu.

## 3. Access to the Stop Control Module

With the operation in progress:

1. Access the side menu;
2. Click on **Downtime Control**.

When accessing the module, the system displays:

* Active Production Order;
* Selected operation;
* Consolidated times:
  * Total stoppage time;
  * Justified time;
  * Unjustified time.

## 4. Opening a New Stoppage

### 4.1. Start stoppage

1. Click the button **Open Stoppage**;
2. The system displays a confirmation message requesting validation of the opening.

After confirmation:

* The machine enters stoppage **state**;
* Time is automatically counted.

## 5. Selecting the Stoppage Justification

After opening the stoppage, the operator must select the **stoppage reason**, according to the configured justification tree.

### 5.1. Justification tree structure

Justifications are organized into levels, for example:

* Planned
* Unscheduled
* Breaks
* Maintenance
* Logistics
* Operation
* Safety activity

⚠️ **Attention:**\
The **final level of the tree is mandatory**. If the operator does not correctly select all required levels, the system will prevent saving.

### 5.2. Justification confirmation

After selecting the reason:

1. The system requests confirmation;
2. The justification is applied to the open stoppage.

## 6. Adding Comments (Notes)

Depending on the justification configuration, the system may request a comment to be added.

Usage examples:

* Detail the reason for the break;
* Specify the context of the stoppage;
* Provide additional information for later analysis.

After filling in:

* Click on **Save** to record the comment.

## 7. Open Stoppage Alert

While the stoppage is active:

* The system displays a **visual alert** indicating that the machine is stopped;
* The operator has the options:
  * **Postpone** (keep the stoppage open);
  * **Close Stoppage**.

## 8. Stoppage Closure

### 8.1. End stoppage

1. Click on **Close Stoppage**;
2. Confirm the action in the displayed message.

After closing:

* The total stoppage time is consolidated;
* The system classifies the time as:
  * Justified or
  * Unjustified, according to the selected reason.

## 9. Tracking Stoppage Records

The module displays:

* Individual cards for each recorded stoppage;
* Information such as:
  * Reason;
  * Start and end time;
  * Duration;
* Graphical view on the operation timeline.

This allows the operator and management to:

* Identify critical periods;
* Evaluate recurrence of causes;
* Analyze impact on production.

## 10. Editing a Recorded Stoppage

If necessary, the operator can **edit the justification** of a stoppage already recorded.

### 10.1. Edit justification

1. Select the stoppage record;
2. Click on **Edit**;
3. Confirm the intention to edit;
4. Select the desired justification again;
5. Confirm to save.

⚠️ The system validates the mandatory justification tree levels again.

## 11. Removing a Justification

It is also possible to **remove a justification** associated with a stoppage.

1. Select the record;
2. Click on **Remove**;
3. Confirm the action.

⚠️ **Attention:**\
If the justification is removed and the mandatory level is not redefined, the system will display an alert informing that the **justification tree level is mandatory**.

## 12. Important Rules of the Module

* Every stoppage must have a **valid justification**;
* The final level of the justification tree is **mandatory**;
* Stoppages directly impact efficiency indicators;
* The module only works with:
  * Linked operator;
  * Active PO;
  * Operation in execution.

## 13. Benefits of Stop Control

* Standardization of loss recording;
* Greater reliability in production indicators;
* Solid basis for OEE analysis;
* Support for decision-making in maintenance, logistics, and planning.
