# Titan (Collection)

The **Titan (Collection)** is the operational module of Sequor MES responsible for the **production execution**, acting as the layer where the operator interacts directly with manufacturing. It connects the operator to the **workstations, machines, lines, or production cells**, ensuring traceability, execution control, and structured real-time data collection.

Unlike administrative modules (such as Calendar Registration, Equipment, Production Order), which structure planning and master data, Titan is the module that **materializes production**, allowing each operator action to be recorded in a standardized way and integrated into the system.

#### **Titan's Main Function**

* Ensure that execution happens **only by authenticated operators**;
* Allow the operator to explicitly link themselves to a workstation/machine;
* Display only the **available production orders** for that workstation;
* Control the start, pause, resume, and completion of operations;
* Record production information:
  * Produced quantities
  * Scrap
  * Actual lead time
  * Executed operations
  * Productive and non-productive times
  * Unlinking from the workstation

The flow of **Login + Workstation Link → Production Order Execution** is the core of Titan, because:

* ensures that each record has **the responsible person, machine, and exact time**;
* avoids reporting errors on incorrect machines;
* centralizes execution within the correct workstation;
* allows tracing: *who produced, where, and when*.

Therefore, the first step for any operator is **to log in**, followed by the **linking to the workstation**.\
Only after this link does Titan release the Production Orders eligible for execution.
