Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://help.sequorplatform.io/documentacao/documentation-en/sequor-mes/production-order.md). # Production Order #### Production Order Management in Sequor MES The module **Production Order** is the core of Sequor MES focused on **managing the orders that control the execution of production operations**.\ Through it, it is possible to create, plan, track, and close orders in an integrated way, ensuring full visibility of production progress. #### Module objective Allow the user to **plan and monitor the execution of production orders** with control over status, times, and quantities, promoting complete traceability of the manufacturing process. Main features: * Creation and management of production orders. * Definition of materials, capacities, and cost centers. * Control of planning, execution, and completion. * Recording of produced quantities, scrap, and times. * Status change in real time. ## 1. Access to the module In the main menu, go to:\ **Production → Production Order**

### 1.1. Initial listing screen The initial screen shows all registered production orders, displaying the main fields for tracking. | Field | Description | | ----------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | | **Order Number** | Unique code of the production order (e.g., OP00000001). | | **Description** | Name or identification of the order. | | **Type** | Defines the type of order (e.g., OP). | | **Material Number** | Code of the material to be produced. | | **Material Description** | Name of the product or component. | | **Planned Start Date / Planned End Date** | Planned deadlines for executing the order. | > 💡 **Tip:** use filters or quick search to find orders by number, description, or material.

## 2. Tabs of the Production Order Registration When creating or editing an order, the system presents three main tabs that organize the information from planning to execution. ### 2.1. Tab **Planning Order** In this tab, the **general planning and scheduling data of the order**. | Field | Description | | ------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- | | **Order Number** | Sequential order code. | | **Order Description** | Production identification. | | **Material** | Code and description of the material to be produced. | | **Capacity / Capacity Version** | Defines the production resource and its associated version. | | **Customer** | Customer linked to the production, when applicable. | | **Type** | Order type (e.g., Production Order, Rework, Sample). | | **Plant / Cost Center** | Related location and cost center. | | **Order Priority** | Level of priority within the production queue. | | **Planned Start / End Date** | Expected execution period. | > 💡 **Tip:** check the **Confirmed** option to validate scheduling and release the order for production.

### 2.2. Tab **Production** This tab allows you to configure the **production execution parameters**, such as serial number, quantity, and unit of measure. | Field | Description | | ----------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- | | **Serial Number Model** | Defines the numbering sequence of manufactured products. | | **Production Quantity** | Total to be produced according to the order. | | **Unit of Measure** | Associated unit (e.g., Unit, Kg, Meter). | | **Lot Size / Sub-lot** | When applicable, defines the production subdivision. | > 💡 **Example:**\ > Production of **450 units** of *Air Filter Element 555N* at plant *After Market A4*.

### 2.3. Tab **Operation** The operation tab details the **order execution stages**, enabling individual tracking of each operation within the production process. | Field | Description | | ----------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- | | **Operation** | Production operation code (e.g., OP10). | | **Operation Description** | Name or function of the stage. | | **Start / End Date** | Operation time record. | | **Produced Quantity / Scrap** | Good and rejected quantities at each stage. | | **Alternative Operation** | Indicates process deviations or substitutions. | > ⚙️ **Example:**\ > Operation **OP10 - Assembly** starting on **10/28/2025 at 4:00 PM** and ending at **8:00 PM**.

## 3. Order Status Control After registration, orders can be **managed and updated directly from the main screen**, using the **status change** (cycle icon). To update the status, select the desired order and click the **“Change Order Status”**. Available options include: | Status | Description | | --------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- | | **Create Order** | Registers the order creation in the system. | | **Dispatch Order** | Sends the order for execution. | | **Start Order** | Marks the start of production. | | **Close Order** | Ends the execution of all operations. | | **Release Order** | Authorizes the start according to the plan. | | **Finish Order** | Completes production, enabling entries and reports. | | **Cancel Order** | Cancels production while keeping the history. | | **Pause / Postpone / Reschedule** | Allows adjustments to deadline and priority. | | **Revert / Restart Order** | Restores the previous status or restarts the process. | In addition to status actions, it is possible to set **new rescheduling date** and enter **justification comments**. > 💡 **Tip:** use rescheduling to adjust production in cases of corrective maintenance or resource unavailability.

## 4. Best practices * Keep **descriptions and materials standardized** to facilitate traceability. * Update the **order status in real time** to ensure accurate data in reports. * Always **reschedule paused or postponed orders**, avoiding resource overlap. * Use the **comment** to record operational justifications. * Check whether all **operations have valid times and quantities** before completion.
