Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://help.sequorplatform.io/documentacao/documentation-en/registrations/registrations-backoffice/checklist-registration.md). # Checklist Registration #### Create your checklist The module **Checklist** of Sequor MES allows the industry to create configurable checklists to be executed on the shop floor, integrated with Titan (collection).\ These checklists are used for: * **Setup validation** * **Start and end-of-operation checks** * **Quality inspections** * **Autonomous maintenance routines** * **Security checks** * **Document and visual inspections** Checklist configuration is fully flexible and allows adding operations, steps, and characteristics (checklist items) with different response types. ## 1. Accessing the module In the main menu of Sequor MES, go to:\ **Registrations → Checklist**

### **1.1. Home Screen** When accessing the module, the user sees the list of existing checklists. **Displayed fields:** * Checklist Number * Description * Enabled * Created by From this screen, it is possible to: * Create new checklist * Edit existing checklist * Duplicate * Activate/Deactivate * Filter records * Open history

## **2. Checklist Creation** ### 2.1. Tab **Header** At this stage, the general checklist data are defined. #### **Fields:** * **Checklist Number**\ Generated automatically, and can be changed according to the customer's rule. * **Checklist Description**\ Internal identification name.\ *Example:* "Machining Setup". * **Checklist Category**\ Classification used for organization and filters. * **Enabled**\ Defines whether the checklist will be available for use in Titan.

> **Important:**\ > A checklist only appears in Titan when it is **enabled** and linked to a capacity or operation. ### **2.2. Operations Tab** In this tab, the **operations** that make up the checklist are registered.\ Each checklist can have **one or more operations**, and each operation can contain **multiple characteristics (items)**. #### **2.2.1 Add New Operation** When clicking on **"Add New Operation"**, the creation panel opens.

#### **Operation Fields:** * **Operation Name**\ Technical name or code.\ *E.g.:* SETUP-USI * **Operation Description**\ Explains the purpose of that step.\ *E.g.:* Primary Machining Setup * **Sample Size**\ How many records must be answered in Titan to validate this operation. > *Example:* In sampling inspection operations, it may be necessary to analyze 5 parts.

After saving, the operation appears on the left as an expandable block. ### **2.3. Characteristics (Checklist Items)** Within each operation, as many characteristics as necessary can be registered. To add a characteristic, click the icon **"+"** inside the operation. From there, the configuration fields are displayed.

#### **General Characteristic Fields** * **Characteristic Name** * **Characteristic Description** * **Variable Name** (used by Titan and reports) * **Severity** (Low / Medium / High) * **Long Description** (text editor with images and formatting) * **Attachments / Reference Images** (useful for visual instructions) ### **2.4. Characteristic Types** The Checklist supports 4 response types: #### **2.4.1. Text Type** Used for free responses, descriptions, observations, or comments. **Example:** * Name: General-Obs * Description: Relevant observation before starting the operation * Severity: Low * Required: Yes

#### **2.4.2. Numeric Type** Used for measurements or quantitative checks. #### **Additional fields:** * **Nominal** (reference value) * **Lower Limit** * **Upper Limit** * **Validate Limit** (if enabled, Titan blocks values outside the range) * **Required** **Example:** * Name: Pressure-Hydr * Description: Hydraulic System Pressure * Nominal: 100 * Limits: 85 to 110 * Severity: High *Typical usage:* temperature, torque, pressure, thickness, consumption, height, weight, etc.

#### **2.4.3. Date Type** Used to record important dates of the operation. **Example:** * Name: FluidChange-Cutting * Description: Last cutting fluid change * Required: Yes * Severity: Medium The interface provides a **calendar picker** to make completion easier.

#### **2.4.4. List Type** Used for standardized responses. The user can register options such as: * OK * NOK * N/A * Adjusted * Cleaning Completed * Not Applicable It is also possible to mark a **default value**. **Example:** * Name: Part-Clamping * Description: Condition of the Part Clamping * Options: OK (default), NOK * Severity: High

## **3. Additional Resources** ### **3.1. Long Description** By clicking the text editor icon, the user can: * Insert formatted text * Create detailed instructions * Create lists, tables, headings * Insert safety guidelines or technical notes Ideal for complex checklists or critical operations.

### **3.2. Attach Images/Documents** The image button allows uploading: * Machine photos * Reference photos * Diagrams * Visual alerts * Step-by-step instructions The images/documents are displayed in Titan to guide the operator.

### **3.3. IoT Link** When configuring IoT Link, it is possible to bring signals directly from the equipment to automatically report results in the checklist.\ To do this, first you must indicate which equipment (previously registered as a Device in Sequor IoT) and enter the name of the variable that must be read in IoT to retrieve the values.
This feature is available for Text and Numeric characteristics.

## **4. Operation / Characteristic Actions** Available in the operation's top menu: * **Duplicate operation** * **Move** * **Expand/hide** * **Delete** The same functions exist for characteristics.

## **5. Saving and Finishing** After registering all operations and characteristics: 1. Click on **SAVE** 2. The checklist will be available to be linked to: * Capacities * Production flow operations * Approval rules And it will appear automatically in Titan when triggered in the production process.
